As you may have heard, at the Board of Directors meeting last Thursday, the Board approved a one-time $100 special assessment. It will be billed in two $50 increments during the last two quarters of the calendar year. The changes driving this assessment are:
- The previous landscape company resigned last fall and they have been replaced with one of the other contractors who submitted a competitive proposal last spring. The change occurred after the budget was submitted for homeowner approval so we stated at the annual meeting that an assessment would be required to cover the additional cost.
- Edna resigned earlier this year, and all of the CAM companies we are considering are more expensive as well.
As a reminder, the budget workshop will be in August and will inform the budget for 2022. Residents are encouraged to participate.
